She's a Slovenian actress and a singer.

She was born on June 28, 1968 in Trbovlje, near Ljubljana. She is married to actor and director Branko Duric and they have two daughters.

Tanja graduated on Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television in Ljubljana in 1991. She's been a member of Ljubljana City Theatre since 1992.


She represented Slovenia at the Eurovision festival celebrated in Ireland in 1997 with the son "Zbudi se" (Awake). She was in the tenth place with 60 points.

Her most important role on TV was when she played a director of a clinic on Slovenian TV series "Nasa mala klinika" (Our little clinic).

She has participated in many theatrical productions including some musicals. She has acted in theater plays like: Pygmalion, Cyrano de Bergerac or The Eastwick's Witches.

As a film actress she has acted in many movies. For example: No man's Land, Cheese and Jam, Thanks for Sunderland or Comic Sans.

With her husband made a movie in English language The Moon the First Night.

In 2008 she was awarded the prize for the best performance at the Taormina film festival for her work in the film Tractor, Love & Rock and Roll with a character written for her by her husband.

Currently she does mostly films.
