Habitat: Soft - sandy bottoms

Water column position: Benthic

Colors & patterns: Distinctive leopard-like/honeycomb or spotted pattern on dorsal side; Very large; Tail longer than disc length.

Behavior:

  2. Activity: Diurnal
  3. Easily approached

Schooling characteristics: Solitary

Native/Exotic: Exotic

EM notes: Sometimes observed in estuaries. Venomous spine on tail.
