2 1/4 c. flour
1 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1 t. vanilla
2 eggs
12 oz. chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla. Beat until creamy.
Add eggs. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until edges brown.
Makes about 5 dozen.
