Ground beef, browned and drained
Dark kidney beans
Light kidney beans
Pinto beans
Green peppers
Onions
1 can of tomatoes with chilis
1 can of petite diced tomatoes
1 can of tomato sauce or tomato paste
Chili seasoning
Combine all ingredients in a large pot or slow cooker. Do not drain beans or tomatoes.
Season to taste with chili seasoning. Simmer on low for 30-plus minutes on the stove top or all day on low in the slow cooker.
Serve topped with grated cheddar and/or a spoonful of sour cream.
