Cube steak
milk
eggs
flour
seasoning (I use 21 Seasoning Salute and Montreal Steak Seasoning)
4 c. beef broth
1 packet of French onion soup mix
1 can of Cream of Mushroom soup
1 pkg of fresh mushrooms
Beat 2 eggs slightly and pour approximately 1 c. of milk in with the eggs in a shallow container.
In a gallon plastic bag, combine approximately 2 c. of flour and seasoning to taste.
Dip both sides of the cube steak in the egg and milk mixture and drop the cube steak in the flour mixture.
Shake the cube steak in the flour mixture to cover completely and drop into a 350-degree deep fryer for 5 minutes.
While the cube steak is frying, combine the beef broth, Cream of Mushroom soup, French onion soup mix, and sliced mushrooms in an Instant Pot.
Saute the ingredients to get the mixture hot.
Add the cube steak when it is all fried.
Cover and pressure on the Manual setting for 20 minutes. Quick release when time is up.
Remove lid and allow the broth to thicken.
Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
