3 cups cabbage (approximately 1 medium sized head)
1 onion, small
3 potatoes, large
1 egg
2 cubes chicken bouillon or equivalent of chicken base
1 pinch salt
6 1/3 tbsp butter
1/2 cup cheddar cheese
1 tbsp milk
1/2 cup sour cream
Boil the potato cubes until tender and drain.
Saute the cabbage and onion in 2 T. of butter until tender.
Combine the cooked cabbage, onion, and potatoes in a large bowl.
Combine the shredded cheddar with sour cream, egg, and chicken bullion. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Combine all ingredients and spread in a 9Ă—13 baking dish.
Top with shredded cheddar cheese and bake at 350 degrees approximately 40 minutes or until bubbly.
