3 3/4 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 T. flavoring
food coloring
Mix sugar, corn syrup, and water in saucepan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
Boil, without stirring, until temperature reaches 310 degrees. Remove from heat.
After boiling has ceased, stir in flavoring and coloring. Pour onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Score.
Allow to harden. Tap back lightly with the edge of a knife to break into pieces. Makes 4 pounds.
