1 stick of butter
1 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1 c. self-rising flour (or plain flour plus 1/4 t. salt and 1 1/2 t. baking powder)
fruit, fresh or canned (Nathan uses two cans)
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Melt the stick of butter in a 9x13 glass baking dish while the oven preheats.
Mix the milk, sugar, and flour in a bowl and whisk until smooth.
Remove the baking dish from the oven after the butter is melted. Pour the batter over the melted butter but do not stir them together.
Top with fruit.
Bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
