I retired from my secretarial position in the Guidance Office at Orange-Ulster BOCES in January, 2003.  David Jay Cohen and I were married in October, 2004.  We enjoyed our honeymoon trip to Hawaii.  In 2005, we purchased a retirement home in Sun City, Hilton Head, which is located in Bluffton, SC.  We are now snow birds, traveling between our Goshen home and South Carolina.

I am a member of the Altar Guild at St. James Church.  I enjoy reading, quilting, playing bridge and walking.  David plays golf.  For the past five years David & I have been active in Relay For Life - a fundraising group for the American Cancer Society.

When in Sun City, we enjoy playing cards, table tennis, swimming, photography, shopping at thrift shops and being with friends.  It's so much fun - like being at a summer camp for adults!

My daughter, Lisa Lindland Racz, is married to Joe (a pilot with UPS) and they live north of Philadelphia and have two sons, Joey age 12, and Stephen, age 9.  Lisa has a Bacelor's Degreee in Nursing.  They lived in Texas and Arkansas before their sons were born.

My son, Mark Lindland, is forty-two years old and lives in his own home in the Village of Goshen.  He has been employed at Orange Regional Medical Center for twenty-five years.  He has been bravely battling brain cancer for almost two years - and is still undergoing treatment.

Favorite memories of Pearl River High include the dances held in the gym, shorthand club, sewing class in the 8th grade, class trips to Albany and Washington.  The teachers and coaches were wonderful.

I realize now what a safe and nourishing environment Pearl River was.

Cheerleading was a special treat for me - belonging to the squad.  One of the guys I cheered for in the lineup was Bob Brennan - and guess what - he and Marcie live less than one hour away from Sun City!  We get together whenever possible.

Classmates are special people and I appreciate all of you - and look foward to seeing everyone in September.
