We moved to Longboat Key Florida, a barrier island off Sarasota, in 1998. We have a small condo overlooking Sarasota bay. I belong to two softball leagues, but I am no longer capable of playing on the traveling teams. I play tennis (doubles) twice a week, bike, swim (only in very warm water), play golf on an executive (very short) course, go for long walks on our beautiful island, read, and play Wii. Otherwise I don’t have much to do except when we are traveling. Carol and I love to travel and in the past years we’ve been to all continents except Africa and Antarctica, and we were close to Antarctica this past December, when we went on a cruise around South America.

We consider ourselves very fortunate to be having such a good retirement, and to have grown up in such a truly wonderful town as is Pearl River. Go Pirates!!
