It's hard to believe that it's 5 years since our fantastic 45th year reunion. In addition to it being the wonderful event that it was, it enabled many of us to reconnect and maintain relationships. Every so often we have "mini reunions" at the Nanuet Hotel and also try to arrange one if classmates who do not live locally  are in the area.

Sandy and I are in good health and still enjoy x-country skiing, biking, hiking, trips to the city and travelling. Most of all we enjoy and treasure our involvment in the lives of our seven grandchildren. These wonderful kids range in age from 6 -17.

Since the last reunion, I left my part time job with the Association for the Visually Impaired and returned to Human Resources as a consultant and am having a wonderful time doing so. I continue to work part time as Coordinator of Adult Athletics for the Town of  Orangetown as well as officiating softball and basketball.

Four years ago we bought a condo in Hudson, Fla. (west coast). Shortly after buying it, I was looking at our class directory and noticed that Esther Morris Chamberlain lives in Hudson. She lives on O'Brien Ct., a short bike ride from our condo. Sandy and I get together with her when we go down. I also have an occasional beer with Jeff Cole and Albie Dawson (class of 59) who both live about 5 miles away.

On a sad note, my sister Molly passed away last August in Louisiana. It was a great loss as we were very close in spite of the distance. She had a wonderful time at her 50th class reunion the year before and Sandy and I are very happy  that she made her first visit to Ireland with us  two years earlier.

Pearl River is still a nice place to live but the 50s were the greatest.
