Update-DeTurris
Retirement certainly has agreed with Doreen and I. I retired in 1991 and Doreen retired in 1995 (both from IBM). We left our house in Pearl River in 1995, lived in upstate New York from 1995-1998, and now reside on the Jersey Shore, just off Long Beach Island. It's great to wake up each morning on the Jersey Shore and ask ourselves----"What shall we do today"? Shall we swim, fish, go boating, go to Atlantic City, or just hang out and enjoy the day. Many of the summer weekends we spend with Dave and Trudy Stolte doing just that----swimming, fishing, clamming, boating or just hanging out having cocktails. Isn't life/retirement grand!

Our family continues to grow--3 children and 5 grandchildren.
-Mary DeTurris Poust and her husband Dennis live in Delmar, N.Y. with their 3 children Noah, Olivia and Chiara.
-Patricia DeTurris Mauldin and her husband Randy live in Austin, Texas with their 2 children Kaci and Makenzi.
-Fred DeTurris is single and lives in Pearl River, N.Y.
Also, please remember Irene Metress DeTurris who has now been gone for 20 years. I'm sure she would have loved coming to our 50th reunion and mingling with all her friends/classmates. She really loved Pearl River High School, St. Margarets, and the town of Pearl River.
