This, just in from Dick Schaab:

(1/20/09)  Hi Bob:  The Steve Ballen Show was our Senior Class Play held in the auditorium. Quite a few members of the Class performed including Larry Dean and his rendition of Lolly Pop - Lolly Pop. Many of the guys arrived on stage in uniform having just returned from a baseball game. The Band played and I'm sure Peggy Ingafu was playing the piano as only Peggy could. It was a great evening ending with a Chorus Line of the Class of ' 58. I believe Gene Cooper and Tony Salvadore wrote the play. Thanks.

Bob, I did see the web notice on the senior play. Dick was right about the play. Tony and I organized it and put it together. Dick played "Steverino" - the star of the show. I forgot about Larry Dean doing the song. I do remember that some of us involved in the play were playing a varsity baseball game in Suffern. We were concerned that we wouldn't make the performance. I believe that even Coach Baker was trying to move the game along since he knew some of us were involved in the "production". That's why some of the guys were in the baseball uniforms. You may remember that the BopTones were entertaining the audience to delay the start of the show until we got back from Suffern. It all seemed to work that night with a gym dance following the show. Wow, some memory! Gene
