Reunion Attendees Letter

The following is the information being sent to all those signed up to attend the reunion. We have made a reservation for  dinner for our class on Friday the 10th, 7:00 at Banchetto Feast. Banchetto`s is located in the Nanuet Mall.

Please let me know if you plan to join us at dinner so I can give an accurate count to the manager.Also let me know if you need directions or further information.

                           PEARL RIVER HIGH SCHOOL  

                   CLASS OF 1952-1958 MULTI CLASS REUNION

                                SEPTEMBER 10 – 12, 2010

 

 

        The multi class reunion for PRHS Classes ’52 –‘58 is rapidly approaching and will  

        be less than a month away by the time attending class members receive this

       communication. The Planning Committee continues to meet to review the expected

        attendance, the scheduled events and to complete final working details. 

 

Casual dress is the guideline for all events for the weekend! We want everyone to be comfortable and enjoy themselves at this special reunion.

 

We are now expecting 200+ attendees which will make for an enjoyable weekend. There are sixty eight Classmates &Guests staying at the Comfort Inn on Route 59 in Nanuet.

 

There will be I.D. badges for all attendees to wear at our functions that contain your name, (spouse or guest) year of graduation, and will reflect the paid events you will be attending. The most important is your name with attendees from eight different years of graduation at PRHS. The badges must be visible and  pinned to your clothing.

 

We have hired a photographer to take class photos (Kruckers) and randomly take photos of attendees during our Friday night (Elks) and Saturday Kruckers event. Our plan is to duplicate the photo disc to a CD and make it available to all attendees. If you want a special group photo just ask the photographer.

 

Anyone arriving from out of town in need of transportation to our events please advise a committee member prior to your arrival.  We will be happy to assist you.

      We also plan to have several tables with old photos, articles, and school newspapers

      for all to review. If you have photos you would like to share with the group, please

      Bring them.  Please make sure to mark your name on the back of any photos or

      documents to insure proper return.

Friday, SEPTEMBER 10, 2010

       Golf- Blue Hill Golf Course

         Be at the golf course 45 minutes before tee time –To be advised

Hudson River Cruise PAST Bear Mountain BRIDGE 1:30 P.M. – 3:30 P.M.

            We will be departing from the Comfort Inn, Nanuet parking lot at 12:30pm for Haverstraw Marina.  Water & badges will be distributed prior to leaving.

Comfort Inn, Empire Hospitality Suite 3:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M.

            This will be held in the Empire Suite at the Comfort Inn.  All class members and guests are invited to join us.  Those who have not received their badges may pick them up while there and save time checking in at the Elks or Kruckers. (Hladik’s, Helmke’s, LaBruyere’s hosting)

Elks Club Social Hour & Supper etc. 7:00 P.M. – 11:00 P.M.

            Doors will open at 6:30pm, service starts  at 7:00 p.m and  food will be served at 8:00pm.  Badges will be available at the door and must be worn during the evening. Please enter through front door only.   (Helmke’s& LaBruyere’s hosts)

Kruckers Picnic Grove 10:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M.

            Report to gate and the guard will have a list of attendees, provide your name and they will tell you how to proceed to our area.  There will be a welcome desk at the entrance, if you have not already done so, you will pick up your badge.  A scroll listing attendees  and  a schedule of events will be provided. Badges must be worn at this event.

Comfort Inn, Empire Hospitality Suite, 7:00 P.M. –

            Our Hospitality Suite will be open for all after conclusion of the picnic.  Drinks and finger & snack type food will be available.  Some have indicated a late night trip for Pizza at the Nanuet Restaurant would be a good idea.
