Gold Bar Canyon Explorer

This is a scenic ride which offers up some of Moab's best canyon exploring and has options for some challenging jeep trails near the end of the ride. In the beginning there are some excellent canyon views as the ride winds up Long Canyon to the Island Mesa.  There are many Black Line side trips.  These are out and back views and canyon explorations.  It is your choice as to how many you visit. Be sure to get the last two 4 mile runs in up Bull Canyon and under Gemini Bridges.  These are most spectacular.    If all of the viewpoints are taken, the ride will be 78 miles long.The ride ends with a red option on Poison Spider Mesa and the Golden Spike Trail and Gold Bar Trail.  These are popular jeep trails; however this ride explores some of the less traveled options of these trails.  Follow the GPS closely.   There is an green easy option to take the road and skip the tougher jeep trails an to shorten the ride.  What is fun about this ride?  Most often people ride through and around this area, this ride will take you inside for a more in depth appreciation of the areas grandeur.
