Join us for this 4 day Dual Sport Ride around the Moab area.
About the ride:
This ride is all about exploring the back areas around Moab, the rides will have several choices depending on your desires and the level of adventure that you would like. I have put together 10 of the best rides and each of the rides has choices on the level of difficulty that you might like. You can choose an easy scenic ride or you can choose a tough guys obstacle ride or anything inbetween. These are custom rides. I will be customizing each ride to fit you or your ride teams desires. Really, Yes I have gotten very good at this. And this place is awesome so that makes it easy. For those of you that like to dream or study the ride ahead of time below you will find descriptions of easy of the different rides. Enjoy. For those of you that just want to come and ride, skip all this and just signup below and come to the ride. I will so hook you up! Fun
The ride is structured as a 4 day ride so that some can adjust their work schedules to think of this as just a 4 day weekend. Many riders will travel to Moab from southern California. Some from other places. The plan for many will be to leave work around noon on Friday then drive hard and arrive in Moab around 11pm. Then it will be to ride the four days, but to ride a shorter day on the last day Tuesday so that they can make the trip back home for work on Wednesday morning. Some riders may have noticed that a that I have another ride (3 Days of George) starting 2 days later in Saint George Utah. Some riders may want to plan for the week off and include both Utah rides.
Sidebar: On a combo ride. I set this ride up in combination with the 3 Days of George ride. I realize that some of you would like to combine these two ride and make a weeks vacation riding in Utah. So I purposely arranged the rides back to back. I have a transition plan and ride plan to complete the week. Looks like This: Wednesday we will ride the San Rafael Swell and transition to Ridgefield UT. Then Thursday we will ride outside of Ceder City and move to St George. I supply the rides.
How Fun!

Are you right for this ride?
When something goes wrong on a ride, would your riding friends say that you are more likely to need help or more likely to give help? You should be in the more likely to offer help camp. This ride is filled with riders that are more likely to give help, so most of the time the riders never need help. Additionally there is all the normal stuff, come prepared to maintain your bike, fix your bike on the trail, repair flat tires, deal with bad weather and rain and make a joke or two.
How does the ride navigation work?
This is a self-led GPS ride; all riding is on your own. You are responsible for your own riding. You will be given a GPS map file and instructions on how to use your Garmin GPS unit. People will hook up in small groups of less than 6 riders and tend to ride together. You are not encouraged to ride alone. You are responsible for your own riding and yourself. (see my ride Navigation Video)
Note from me, gpsKevin
My goal for this ride is simple, great riding, so you can count on great routes and places to ride.
But in addition: The ride is about discovering new places, meeting new friends, seeing new parts of Death Valley.
Thanks
