40 Days for Life Fall 2020 the First two weeks in Ottawa

The Fall 40 Days for Life campaign is well under way and so far the weather has been cooperative, except for the occasional shower.

All the restrictions placed upon us because of COVID-19, have made this campaign the most challenging in our 12-year history. But God has called us to defend the little innocent unborn and we must be faithful to this calling.

The outdoor vigil is going on and I encourage you to take some time, on a regular basis, if possible, and stand in witness to our faith.

One of the criticisms that we get is that there are too many people on this planet; we are overpopulated. Look around at Canada, we are far from overpopulated. In fact, we have to bring in workers from the south (Mexico and Central America), because we don’t have enough people to fill jobs. I often wonder how many advancements in technology and medicine have not been realized because the people whose purpose it was to make these advancements, were aborted. God has put this planet into the care of human beings, we must be good stewards and protect all of creation, especially each and every person created by God.

Some good news from 40 Days for Life in Winnipeg. They have news of a mom who turned around and decided to take her baby to full term, because of the 40 Days for Life campaign. Add to this what head office has announced earlier this week with 43 turn arounds; those babies will live to experience a normal birth and may God bless them.

More good news, Father Tony is joining us again on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (abortions take place at the abortuary on those days).

This weekend, we are happy to be joined by Life Chain, as many more stand in unison with us to proclaim the pro-life message on Sunday, October 4 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm. Locations are listed at the end of this email.

Please stand for life. Join the outdoor prayer vigil. Pray daily during these 40 days for an end to abortion. If you find it too difficult to come downtown to pray at Queen and Bank streets, on our website you will also find churches that have opened their doors for adoration, and times for a daily rosary led by Prentis.

I beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness, and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love. — Ephesians 4:1b-2
