Uma Kali Shakti

Uma Kali Shakti has been involved in the Theatre for over 40 years. Falling in love with Shakespeare at high school, she went on to study Drama & Theatre at Murdoch University(WA) in the 70s and since then has had varied experiences in theatre and TV in Aotearoa/NZ, Australia and England. Uma has not only been a Writer/Director/Performer for a number of productions at the Imagine Festival, Mardi Gras, Crash Test Drama and for the Short & Sweet Festivals as well as gaining a Short & Sweet 5 year Participation Silver Award; but also co-ordinates the monthly DIY: New Directors Mentoring Project.
