Fleur Beaupert

  • Fleur is a Sydney based writer and performer and is completing a PhD in mental health law at the University of Sydney.Fleur's first short play, Straw People, was performed in Short+Sweet 2009. Other short plays include Starwoman, Short+Sweet 2010 and Come Back When You've Found Your Passion, Imagine Festival 2009, which she co-directed with Liam Burgess. Her poems 'no compass' and 'Kenebowe' are published in Cordite Poetry Review, issues 28 and 30.A full length play is in the makings, called either Just or The Real Flies. Which title is better? Audience vote decides!Since early stints as a regular on Home and Away and Heartbreak High she has continued to work on stage and camera, most recently in Roadkill by Rick Viede as part of a collection of short plays in 4Play at Slide (Blancmange Productions) and the film Plagued (Burnt Dog Productions).
