The world around us doesn’t really take care of their world. If they named their roads and streets after the stories and places they represent people would appreciate them a lot more rather than the people they were named after. People like Washington, Jackson, and Luther. Though some of these people should have their own street it doesn’t create this place identity which means to have a place be symbolic like the native roads. A good example is the San Francisco peaks also known as the perpetually covered in snow. Though not anymore, a nearby resort used sewage waste to make artificial snow. This gave way to all the disrespect as Natives.
I believe that this article could shed light upon the climate change areas. By implementing sacred roads and the telling of all their stories it would create place identity and end polluting at least on these sacred streets. I have seen many and a lot of people polluting around my home especially on trails near and around the city I live in. By polluting less in these areas we could be able to even pull the climate back and make more cleaner areas in the city.
People in the Okanagan Valley aren’t able to see the connections they have with the world around them. A family sits and sees their entire valley being overrun with people destroying their world's loud factories and cars. They can’t see the connections to being human. Physically, emotionally, thinking, and spiritually. All four keep us human. Most of the people doing these things often forget about their homes, where they came from and other things like that. They only see the money that they could be making and the power they can gain from that.
I feel that this is true about the four selves. Inorder to be whole you need all of that and a supporting family to go home to every night. Most of the people who believe in this imaginary power in the world end up going home alone without any happiness or love. Not unless they want to better the world as they have a community behind their backs trying to support their every move even their family.

This video is about Metallica’s struggle to make arguably their greatest record. It doesn’t seem like a huge piece of hard work, but you’d be wrong. The band had to go through many struggles with money and especially drug abuse as sung about in their title track Master of Puppets. Finding their destructive path through their fame and popularity which led them to their anger and aggression which you can hear in their rhythmic patterns.
My view on this video is ever so real, many of these guys are struggling with money and drugs. Almost every show has more than four drinks in their system. It got to the point where they were called Alcoholica instead of Metallica. Their main goal was to write and get back on the road as soon as possible where they feel invincible. All of them didn’t care if they were famous they just wanted to play music their kind of music, and that’s the kind of mindset I’m trying to have so that’s why feel connected to this video because even though they just wanted to make this record they took tracks from all over their career which made the writing process full of practicing and recording instead of fully writing, but this sense of invincibility is what I’m looking for what I’m searching for.

The music in the video game The Legend of Zelda each musical masterpiece has roots from all over the world and different time pieces. Each song from these games all share and hold value to the people that made that sound popular many years ago. Even though the composer for many of the games Koji Kondo had limited space to work with since many of the songs had to be ported to a smaller same key instrument called an Ocarina. He was still able to create immensely powerful and beautiful pieces that were so simple and yet so creative. For example, a theme from the main village in Majora’s Mask is called Clock Town. This game has a three day cycle in which you have to complete the game because of the world ending moon that is about to crush into this place. With the help of a time bending song you’re able to complete it, but in this main Clock Town the theme is very simple. Every new day brings a new theme, something that most games don’t really have. Because of the impending doom loominating overhead the theme gets faster and more darker I truly recommend giving it a listen.
I really connect to these pieces and this person because he was able to take simple patterns. Some patterns can be easily found on a piano as increments of three and then an ending. I truly believe that Zelda wouldn’t still be the adventure game gods that they are today without those pieces. Simple patterns that people who have never played the piano can find and with practice every day said person can continuously add more things. From what was once a simple three note scale can now be a complex rhythm with a ton of character and life filled into it. I connect with it because I know that just messing around with a piano anyone can find subtle patterns like they did in the Legend of Zelda series.

Today’s music has been very similar. Our brains like a sense of familiarity so most of pop music today sounds similar to each other from subtle lyrical sayings to larger more noticeable sounds. Now that most music again is all done using a keyboard, computer, drum maker, and a sampler. So it takes what most people spend their entire lives following and dumbs it down. Most pop music today even uses a thing called the millennial whoop or a series of notes that make a familiar tune found in many pop songs.
I connect with this through the simplistics of the new music being mostly digital; it loses its soul within the song as well as the feeling of playing it. More kids today just seek this simpler method when making music which does work, but leaves the feeling and the love out and just seeks the music arts for the money.

Most parents today are very skeptical about their kids taking a musical education class because they know their kid won’t practice and it will take up their study time. Most parents don’t want their kids to even express themselves so they don’t try going for an unreasonable dream. Most see music education as an elective or a class to get an easy A. Music is so much more than that.
The arts today are considered not important. Little do most people know music and the arts can be ways to help develop the human mind. Taking music can greatly help coping with family matters and stress that school does bring. I feel like most parents today don’t see music like this, but rather a waste of time.

Many concerts and venues today share the common goal to gather all people from around the world to tune into their respective concerts. Today many live events are being streamed live to be tuned into live from around the world. This could triple the attendance for many of these shows. Making more money for the entire event and even racking up more than a million dollars in earnings for the entire event.
Pretty soon more people would be tuning in from more around the world and possibly making the live music festivals and shows obsolete. This could potentially knock out the feeling musicians get when composing songs to the audience. Many of the modern music today does emphasize more towards the electric side and many of the bands of yesterday are playing their last tours or have finished for example KISS on their final “End of The Road” tour and Black Sabbath’s “The End”.
