In the article, "How place names impact the way we see landscape" written by B. Toastie Oaster discusses the topic of how Indigenous People are trying to rename certain landscapes to their original cultural names. The reason being many of the cultural names for the landscapes were given to the land to honor it and honor the connection to their people. Whereas the colonized names are mostly after colonizers who conquered the land. This article brings up how names are not only important to identify and honor the land, but also to oneself. Identity is important because it not only represents a person but also how they are. How they present themselves, interact with others, their values, and their feelings.

The video, "A History of Mental Illness" goes into depth about how Mental Illness was seen and treated in the past, also how it affects families that have a family member that has a mental illness today. The first thing it explains is how in the 18th Century mental illness wasn't seen as a health problem but as demonic possession, as in the 18th century, the Christianity religion played a role in people's perspective. The second thing it talked about was how people with mental illness got treated. In the past, people were treated by being locked in cages, handcuffed to a bed, and even punished. Later on in the 1930s it was seen as a disease of the mind and many people started to show, ¨both a kind of ethos of compassionate or humanitarian concern¨, and drugs for mental illness started to arise. The third thing, they went into dept about was the effects of mental illness on families that have family members with family members that suffer from mental illness. For this, they interviewed many people about their experiences. They talked about how it affected them when they found out that their family member had been diagnosed with a mental illness and how they felt seeing them going through it. Many of them had a fear of losing them mentally and physically.

" A Brief History of Therapy" is an article that discusses where therapy originated and the people who played a role in shaping it, also how the rise of new types of therapy started. Firstly, it discussed that the origins of therapy started from how people would tell stories to each other and give advice. Then in the 1800s, the term ¨psychotherapy¨ was invented and this was where patients would talk about their emotions and behaviors and try to learn well trying to handle real-life situations. It was also put in motion in 1874 when an article written by The Lancet said that talking on the telephone with someone could help you mentally. Secondly, it discussed how Fued Sigmund played a role in shaping therapy. He shaped it with his theory of the ¨two-part human mind¨. He also was the one who ¨suggested that children go through a series of psychosexual stages.¨ He also helped with many other things. Lastly, it was discussed in the mid-1900s and later on, therapy became more famous and that is how new types of therapy were created like Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Client-centered therapy, etc.

Due to scheduling, time, and traditional doings, the game had to be rescheduled. My grandma and I still served food to anyone who wanted to come and eat.
