In the article "How places names impact the way we see language" he expresses the importance of the land & how the names make us connect to the land in many different ways. "Place names and the stones behind them define how we perceive and connect to landscape. "
The article is saying don't be afraid to be who you are. Never be afraid to talk your language, or take part in your culture. Always introduce yourself in your native language. Also always say where from. Color dont matter everyone is one. Without our language and culture we are nothing.

Asylums War Hospital Scheme-
In January 1915 the Army council estimated a required 56,000 beds for the hurt and wounded troops in World War I. They moved out the civilian inmates out from the asylums to provide the assistance and a place to stay for the soldiers. The condition rates were very critical in the asylums which led to a very high death rate. Asylums were used for camps or bases for the soldiers fighting in the war.
They moved out the mental ill people who were in the asylums to make basically a camp for the soldiers. The Army had to use all the resources they could get to help win the war which comes with having a shelter. But even thought they did this they hardly survived because of the low living conditions they were dealing with. Hardly any soldiers survived.
Mental Health Act-
The Act states that you can be taken to hospital, kept there, and treated against your wishes. This can only happen if you have a mental disorder that puts you, or others, at risk. You should only be detained under the Mental Health Act if there are no other ways to keep you, or others, safe. Being detained under the Mental Health Act is sometimes called being ‘sectioned’, because the law has different sections.
Depending on what your mental disorder is and how bad you act. This can determine how long your locked up or “treated against your wishes” if you are going to hurt someone or yourself. Like say you are hearing voices or seeing things the asylums could choose how to treat you. They will keep if you think you are mental ill problems are bad.
