I am calling this project "Poabla" because through out this project my sculpture looked like a bear, koala, and panda. The subject is a animal head based off of the examples on the wall and pictures online. I chose to create this specific work because I thought that it would be challenging. For materials I used hot glue, and cardboard. I used a variety of techniques and methods including: outlining, gluing, and cutting. While creating this work I paid close attention to shape, form and value. I did that by mapping out before it cut, and matching the pieces of cardboard to make them look proportional. I wanted my artwork to look simple, and I did this by not using too many paint chips and keeping my colors similar. To add interest to my composition I made parts of the face stick out and some farther than others. like the way the colors go nicely together, however i . struggled with making it look like an actual animal. My work shows that I learned how to cut the right sizes of cardboard to match the original piece of cardboard.
