So for this project I wanted to paint on a picture because I liked doing it last time but I thought it would be more challenging if I tried to match the colors. So I picked an image that was pretty colorful and focused on one part of the picture. This project relates to y life because I actually got a smoothie from this juice stand.

So first I printed a black and white picture and then I printed and the original picture so I could look at the colors. Then I got the three primary colors and black and white and then mixed all the shades and started painting. After that I went over it with different colored sharpies and made all the words look cleaner.

I experimented with the process because I was debating just picking like two or three colors and only doing those throughout the whole thing but then I thought it would be more challenging if I kept it the same colors. I think my project evolved when I added the finishing touches (sharpies) to my project. I think I would want to cut the picture out and paste it on a different piece of colorful paper so the contrast is even higher.
