"Hawaiian Invasion"

For this project I did a digital drawing on top of a picture I took while I was in Hawaii. I wanted to do something outside of wha I had been doing (which was animals). I think the most relevant way my project relates to my life is that the setting is in a place that I had been and enjoyed.

First I chose an image that I could use as a background, specifically something that didn't have a foreground already in the photo. then I borrowed a wacom tablet to do my digital drawing. I used different brushed and colors to create the monsters that are doing various actions.

I think that the more I experienced with the program the more familiar I became and the better the designs got. I think that it looks better that I filled more of the space. I think I would want to add cocoanuts to the trees in that background.
