Sustained Investigation #16

SO for this work I took two pictures from my trip to hawaii and put them together. These pictures were from where I was staying while I was there. This project relates to my life because I took these pictures and while I was there these pictures are from my favorite places on Maui.

First i printed out he twin images and stuck them over each other and then stuck another one on top of them and traced what I wanted from each picture onto the black piece of paper. Once I was done with the tracing I opened the drawing application I use on my laptop called "Sketchbook" and copied the lines drew on the paper onto the blank canvas on my computer screen with the black pencil tool. After I finished outlining everything on my computer I started to color everything in based on the colors in the original pictures. After the coloring was done I went back in with the black pencil feature and went over the lines that had been covered by the colors.

I think the hardest part of the project for me was transferring what I had traced on my physical paper to my computer screen. I think that next time I would probably scan the tracing and then use the lines form that picture and open a new Sketchbook page with the image in it. I think my project evolved when I added the black lines over the color when I was almost done. I think my next steps could be adding lines to the water to show movement becuase water is always moving.
