So for this project I wanted to do what I did for my last project but this time I wanted to do it digitally. So I chose another image I had taken of Hawaii and recolored it in an app called SketchBook. This relates to my life because when I was younger my favorite movie was the lorax and I would watch the movie over and over again just to see the pink trees. So when I was recoloring the clouds and the bushes on the ground that's all I could think of.

So first I had to pick an image and then I picked a color that would contrast the areas I wasn't going to recolor. Then I used the airbrush tool and recolored the clouds and the bushes. After I was done with the pink, I made the size of the airbrush tool smaller and used the eyedropper tool to match the colors so I could clean up the edges around the clouds. Then I used the eraser tool and cleaned the side of the picture. After that I dropped the highlights, increased the contrast and the highlights. Then printed it on glossy photo paper.

At first I wanted to use the paint tool but I couldn't adjust the size of the brush to make it thicker so I went to the airbrush tool which was a little harder because I had to layer the colors to make them darker. I think the project looked more complete when I adjusted the colors and shadows and highlights. I think I could retouch more parts like maybe the water and then re-print it.
