This article’s topic presents a widespread issue, not only in my community but around the world. Fast food, it's cheap, convenient, and for the most part taste good. But is it really good for your body’s health? All the grease, pre-made products, and high calories? The fast food industry is a non-stop profit that continues to increase but health issues such as high cholesterol and diabetes have also. In this article you will be able to explore the correlation between the two.

How Fast Food Affects Your Body

Fast food has an effect on the body in various ways. Some we can see, others we feel changing our body. An article on the Healthline states that fast food has a huge impact on the digestive and cardiovascular system. This aligns with high blood sugar which increases your risk for insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes, and weight gain.

“Once a week.”

Why do you eat fast food?

“Because it tastes good and sometimes I want something different.”

How do you think fast food affects your body?

“Well, when I was younger I used to eat it a lot cause I was always on the go and it made me sick and I stayed in the hospital because a lot of the times the grease that they use they don't change it as often.”
