To find out more about being an entrepreneur and working with teens, I chose to interview Jarrett Stein. Jarrett Stein is the UACS Director of Health Partnerships and Social Ventures for Rebel Ventures, a student-led enterprise that produces healthy food for Philadelphia students and communities. These teens have produced healthy breakfast options for the youth in the Philadelphia School District, including the famous "Rebel Crumble."

The Rebel Ventures social enterprise provides healthy options for breakfast to Carver students and schools all around Philadelphia. In the past two years, Rebel Ventures has supplied Philadelphia Students with over 1 million breakfast meals. Rebel Ventures is very important because they’re one of the first to step up and start to create these meals that are actually healthy.

Rebel Ventures is led by High School students from Philadelphia, who are involved in product design, marketing, and sales. In addition to supplying the School District with meals, Rebel Ventures has gotten their products sold in local supermarkets in West Philadelphia.

This investigation can shed even more light on how food is produced in the U.S.A. for everyone, not just students. Food for many Americans, especially those who can't afford healthier options, is not healthy. The animals that are in our food sometimes aren't raised in the best conditions. What do you want to eat?
