We are delighted to confirm that our school will be receiving a Large Wild Harvest pack, containing 420 saplings, from the Woodland Trust Free Trees for Schools initiative. This generous programme is supported by lead partners Sainsbury’s, Lloyds Banking Group, OVO, Sofology and Simplyhealth.
The saplings will be delivered in November, ready for planting during the optimal season. The Wild Harvest pack includes a variety of trees that support local wildlife and, over time, can provide fruits and nuts.
This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to get involved in a meaningful, hands-on environmental project that promotes sustainability, biodiversity, and care for the natural world. We look forward to seeing the positive impact these trees will have on both our school grounds and our wider community.
