Pupils from OSA had the opportunity to enjoy a two-day trip to Paris. On the first day, they embarked on a scenic cruise along the Seine River, with a tour guide sharing fascinating details about the history and construction of Paris's iconic monuments. They also visited the Louvre Museum, where they were captivated by the grandeur of the building's architecture, the diverse collection of paintings, and spent extra time admiring the world-famous Mona Lisa. GCSE photography students seized the chance to take numerous photographs to enhance their portfolios.
On the second day, the group ascended the Eiffel Tower, marveling at panoramic views of Paris from various perspectives. They also admired the intricate design of the Tower itself. To embrace the festive season, students explored the enchanting Parisian Christmas market, featuring over 60 stalls, and indulged in delicious crêpes. It was heartwarming to see students practising their French, soaking in the city's inspiring architecture, and immersing themselves in the culture. Students and staff thoroughly enjoyed their trip and look forward to exploring another city in France next year.
As the French would say: Joyeux Noël! "
