Dear Parent / Carer,
As we come to the end of an incredibly busy summer term, it is great to reflect on all that our students have achieved both inside and outside the classroom. There are nearly thirty success stories below; almost one for every day of the half-term! Â
I cannot finish the half-term without a special mention of our students' phenomenal performance in District Athletics. As you will read below, so many fantastic performances by individuals and teams led to an outstanding achievement by Onslow St Audrey's overall. My sincere thanks to all the staff who have coached and supported our athletes.
Today we say goodbye to two treasured colleagues: Mrs Kovacs, who has been with us for five years as a Learning Support Assistant and, latterly, teacher of Spanish, and Mr Sritharan, who has been with us for three years as School Sports Coordinator. Mrs Kovacs has supported so many students during our time with us and has genuinely helped to break down barriers to learning and enable our young people to flourish. The work she has done to develop our programme for children who have English as an additional language will leave a lasting legacy that we will build upon long into the future. Mr Sritharan has been such a positive ambassador for Onslow St Audrey's School through his links with our local primary schools and his support for our education partnership with Tottenham Hotspur. He leaves a tremendous legacy of community outreach and relationships with our local primary schools and, again, we will look to build on his success to develop these partnerships even further in future.
I wish you and your families a safe, restful and enjoyable summer break.
