AUTUMN NEWSLETTER

Dear Parent / Carer

Every article you will read here is testament to our students' values of ambition, kindness and responsibility.  These are the cornerstones of our Character Education programme launched in September 2025.  The strands of this programme are writ large through everything we have undertaken this term.  Everyone Join: you will read many accounts of trips and visits that have enhanced our students' studies and learning; EveryoneCanLead: you will read about the many opportunities our students have taken to develop their leadership qualities, whether in support of students at OSA, in our local primary schools, or in our local community; and EveryoneActive: our students' commitment to all things extra-curricular, not just through our Tuesday afternoon enrichment sessions for Key Stage 3 but also through our expansive extra-curricular programme in Sport, Music, and so much more.  All of this contributes to the fourth Character Education strand: ChangeTheNarrative.  Our students have had the best attendance in seven years over the last half-term, and have achieved a record number of merits: 27301.

My congratulations to all students and staff, and best wishes to our OSA families for a restful half-term break.
