We took students to see the Knife Angel, a powerful installation aimed at raising awareness of knife crime, sexual exploitation, and county lines. The Angel is currently on display in Welwyn Garden City throughout October.
About the Knife Angel
The Knife Angel, designed and created by Alfie Bradley at the British Ironwork Centre, serves as a national monument to underscore the detrimental effects of violence and aggression, highlighting the urgent need for change. Standing at 27 feet tall, this remarkable sculpture is made from over 100,000 knives and blades confiscated by all 43 police forces in the UK. Its purpose is to raise awareness about the repercussions of knife crime and violence, while encouraging dialogue about social change and the pursuit of peace.
Upcoming Events
