On Friday, 9th May, Onslow St Audrey’s School marked a memorable milestone as it said farewell to its Year 13 cohort—the graduating class of 2025.
The celebration featured heartfelt speeches from members of the Senior Leadership and Sixth Form teams, as well as a humorous address by Head Student John Curtain, who shared entertaining anecdotes from his time at the school before presenting certificates to both students and staff. A nostalgic slideshow followed, showcasing messages from teachers and photographs chronicling the students’ journey through their years at OSA.
To end the day on a sweet note, students enjoyed treats from a candy table, a pizza lunch, and received thoughtful parting gifts, including a personalised OSA-branded power bank keyring—perfect for those late nights when a phone battery runs low and a taxi home is needed.
In true tradition, Year 13s donned fancy dress costumes, with this year’s theme celebrating characters from books and films. The Sixth Form Team fully embraced the spirit of the day, dressing as characters from Alice in Wonderland to join in the fun.
Reflecting on the day, Miss Tyler, Co-Head of Sixth Form, said:
“It was a pleasure to support the students over their final two years at Onslow St Audrey’s. With only 22 students, it was a small cohort, which allowed for close-knit friendships and highly personalised support. I am confident each of them will go on to do great things and become truly outstanding members of society.”
She also extended special thanks to the Senior Student Leadership Team—Katherine, John, and Ruby—for their contributions to strengthening student leadership within the Sixth Form and raising a significant amount for school charities.
“I will miss them all and wish them the very best of luck in their upcoming exams,” she added.
