We’re thrilled to share some wonderful news about our amazing students in Years 7-11, who recently participated in a community litter pick in Hatfield as part of the "Clean Up Hatfield" initiative. Their hard work and enthusiasm for making a difference have been truly inspiring, and we couldn’t be prouder of their efforts.
Throughout November, groups of students, along with Mr. S. Millar, Alistair B. (Year 11), and some dedicated teachers, took to the streets of Hatfield with gloves and bags, ready to make a positive impact. The litter pick wasn’t just about cleaning up—it reflected our school’s commitment to community and responsible citizenship.
The students worked together brilliantly, clearing litter from streets and public spaces. Their energy and teamwork were contagious, inspiring not only their peers but also passersby who saw their efforts. The pride on their faces was truly heartwarming.
A big thank you to all the students who took part! Your commitment to helping the community shows a deep understanding of the importance of environmental care and responsibility. You’ve set a great example for everyone around you.
We also want to thank Alistair and the teachers who guided and supported the students during this project. Your dedication to promoting civic values is helping shape our students into compassionate and responsible individuals.
This initiative shows how much can be achieved when we come together for a common cause. Congratulations to our Year 7-11 students for helping make Hatfield a cleaner, brighter place. We’re incredibly proud of you all!
Thank you for being role models of kindness, responsibility, and positive action.
Mr. S. Millar
