OSA were treated to the Tottenham vs Arsenal Ladies North London Derby on 16th November, 2024.

We embarked on our travels through London, arriving at the stadium to see their world class facilities and incredible pitch. We were seated behind one of the goals and got to see the Arsenal side warm up before the match.

With all the students having food and soft drinks in hand, we were underway. Within 2 minutes, Alessia Russo buried a lovely half volley into the bottom right corner. 1-0 to Arsenal. A very one sided game saw Arsenal score 2 more with goals from Frida Maanum and Stina Blacksteinus. Full time saw Arsenal as 3-0 winners.

Although it wasn’t the result some of us wanted, the game was a fantastic watch and a great opportunity to see some world class women’s football in one of the best stadiums in the world. Our learners had a fantastic day and we hope to return to The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium very soon.
