OSA Awarded Gold School Games Mark for the Second Year Running

Recognition for our continued commitment to school sport, physical education, and character development through competition and participation.

We are proud to announce our success in achieving the Gold School Games Mark for School Sport and Physical Education for the second consecutive year.

The School Games Mark is a government-led award scheme, launched in 2012 and facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust, which recognises schools for their commitment to character education and community engagement through sport.

As part of our application, we were assessed across four key areas: participation, competition, workforce, and clubs. We are delighted that the hard work and dedication of our staff and students have once again been acknowledged with this prestigious award.

This achievement marks our penultimate step towards the coveted Platinum Award, which is granted to schools that maintain Gold status for three consecutive years.

We look forward to continuing our journey and further strengthening our culture of excellence in sport and physical education.
