Pathfinder Days: Introducing Year 9 Students to the World of University and Future Possibilities

Pathfinder Days are designed to give Year 9 students a taste of university life and help them start thinking about their future education.

During the visit, students spent a day at the University of Hertfordshire campus, where they explored different subjects, found out about student financing, toured the facilities, including the accommodation available, completed quizzes and challenges and met with current university students (student ambassadors) who helped to answer our students' questions. The aim is to broaden our pupils' horizons, show them the wide range of courses available, and get them thinking about whether higher education might be part of their future.
