Step-by-Step Operations Procedure:
Staff member creates draft flyer including relevant details (event name, date, contact, etc.).
Principal or Associate Principal reviews for accuracy and appropriateness.
Final version is submitted to the Program Manager of Communications and Strategic Initiatives or Superintendent’s Executive Assistant for central office approval.
Once approved, distribution plan is confirmed (digital, printed, or both).
Step-by-Step Communications Procedure:
Approved flyers are posted to digital platforms (school websites, mobile app, etc.).
Flyers may be emailed to families upon request.
Hard copies may be sent home with students or posted in schools, depending on audience and need.
Flyers should be branded using Old Saybrook colors, fonts, and logo when appropriate.
