Surveys are developed collaboratively between the Superintendent, Program Manager of Communications and Strategic Initiatives, and building leaders at least once per year.
Questions align with district goals, covering topics like:
Communication clarity
Source trustworthiness
Usefulness and timeliness of information
Access to school and district news
Survey is piloted and translated to ensure equity in access.
Results are compiled, analyzed, and presented to leadership and the Board.
Step-by-Step Communications Procedure:
Surveys are promoted via email, mobile app, website banners, and newsletters.
Schools hold brief survey push campaigns during conferences or events.
A clear deadline is communicated with at least 2 reminders sent.
Once results are analyzed, a public summary is shared with families and staff.
