Being able to identify the difference between inquiry based and traditional learning
Inquiry based learning is a form of active learning process that engaes students by making real-life world conections through exploration and high level questioning. This learning starts by posing questions, problems, and scenarios, which contrast to traditinal learning where a teacher presents facts and their personal knowledge. When using inquiry based learning , students will demonstrate the methods and practices similar to professional scientists to contruct their knowledge (Keselman, 2003). This learning has promoted as a student-centered approach that can strengthen the links between teaching and research (Smith & Walker, 2010).

Inquiry-based learning is the way of learning that mimicks the proccess of professional scientists. This requires students to use their creativity, project processing, and project sharing skills. There is some research that indicates inquiry-based learning promotes a better learning experinece for students.
