Who am I? I am Malia Ancheta I was born and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia. I was raised by two wonderful loving and understanding parents. My mom and dad really shaped who I am as a person today. From a very young age they told me how important an education is in order to be a strong an independent female. In high school I had a certain teacher impact my life in such a positive way an I want to be the same for other kids.
I know with teaching comes a lot of responsibility on my part. I understand everyone learns in diffrent way and there is no one way of teaching that works for everyone. I want to teach my classmates that what works for someone else may not be what is best for the teacher or certian students. What I want to teach my students if something does not work for them do not get upset or mad and try a new technique. This goes for in the classroom and out of the classroom. I Know eveyone is diffrent and no child is the same and it is my responsibility to do my best for each kid and their situation.
I know there is still so much for me to learn before going in this porfession. We all come from diffrernt walks of live and ones experience is not the same as another. I need to learn the tool in order to help one kid who may not have accsess to certian resources. I need to learn how to cater to each students needs in order for them to be as succesful as they can in the future. I will do my best to ensure my students are provided with the help they need in deserve in order to be successful in life. I will try and do diffrent teaching techniques until i find one that not only works for me, but works for the students.
Hi Malia, First of all love your theme! I definitely agree that every kid has a different way of learning things. I also agree it is critical to include and accept all kids. Great job! - Maria Brown
