What I know
I am confident in my abilities as a teacher to:
accommodate varying cultures into my classroom
providing tools and means necessary to promote success
create a nurturing and positive learning environment for every student
What I need to Learn
how to create a lesson plan
how to follow a curriculum
how to keep students engaged
The best method of teaching for all my students
The Teacher I will Become
The teacher I hope to become in the future is one that students won't fear to communicate with. I will be a kind and encouraging educator, never talking down to my students. I will be understanding and do everything I can to ensure growth for my students. I will make sure every student is comfortable and welcome in my classroom environment both by me and fellow students. I want to have a student-centered classroom where students are challenged to expand their ways of thinking. I want my students to strive to grow and learn new things every day. When I think of my role in the world as a teacher, I think of a potter. Molding a shaping young students into something each uniquely beautiful that has a design and purpose for the world they will grow up in. Pouring into them and shaping them into something that is bigger than themselves.
Educational Philosophies
I want my students to be excited about learning and engaged in hands-on activities.
I want my students to also be free ranged. They are allowed to be their own person and grow at their own rate.
I want my students to be mindful of their potential and think of how they can contribute to the world around them.
