Theme 1: Reading Literacy
課程目標 Lesson objective:
1. 重點故事閱讀學習: Monkey Puzzle
2. 學生藉由閱讀故事,理解如何分析故事細節。
3. 學習如何分辨英文插畫書的故事作者、繪者、標題、角色與背景設定。參訪圖書館,尋找英文繪本並完成學習單。
課程任務 Lesson Assignment:
1st period: Introduce Monkey Puzzle (First half). Rhyming words. 10 questions game. Introduce the rule of library and visit library to finish the handout.
2nd period: Part 1 of library handout. Review 3 questions for assessment and the long answers.
3rd period: Finish Monkey Puzzle. A small quiz as a group activity. Students in their teams listen carefully and have to draw the animal the teacher is talking about as quickly as they can.
4th period: Oral Assessment
Vocabulary: Parrot, Coil, Slither, Leap, Discover, Rhyme, title, author, illustrator, characters, setting
