Theme 3: International Festivals
課程目標 Lesson objective:
1. 學生能了解新年與中秋節的關鍵字,並以英文介紹該傳統節日。
2. 以影片、聲音與字卡的情境,練習並熟悉課程相關字彙運用。
3. 各組以平板完成四大主題(傳說故事、傳統風俗、家庭活動、節慶食物)介紹句。
課程任務 Lesson Assignment:
1st period: Discuss CNY. What are the traditions? What are the zodiac signs? What is the story? Have the students provide the vocabulary they can (both English and Chinese).
2nd period: Review the story of Chang E. Make a mind map again on the board. Discuss the story and watch a video. Discuss foods and traditions as well.
3rd period: Role play assessment.
Vocabulary: couplets, fortune, longevity, happiness, red envelope, fireworks, legend, archer, blistering, elixir, immortal, customs, lunar calendar, pomelo, moon cake, celebrate
Assessment: Choose a topic (CNY/ Moon Festival). Use tablets to complete each group of sentences on the four themes (story, customs, food, family activities) on Padlet website.
