課程目標 Lesson objective: 

1. 複習地震演習操作。

2. 以影片加強斷層帶、震央、震源的概念。

3. 以圖卡與地圖學習主題相關單字與概念。

4. 各組進行震源震央實驗並完成作業單。 

課程任務 Lesson Assignment:

1. 1st period: Which country will have a strong/weak earthquake?  Country names, fault lines.

2. 2nd period: It is far from the epicenter. It is close to the epicenter. 

3. 3rd period:“ Which country will have the strongest/weakest earthquake?”  “Why?”

4. Vocabulary: Country names, fault lines, epicenter, focus, weak, strong, Richter Scale, close to, far from

5. Assessment: Using the PPT show the assessment slides and ask students, one by one, which country will have the strongest/weakest earthquakes. Students must answer the question with the target sentence.

Q:“ Which country will have the strongest/weakest earthquake?”  “Why?”

A: “Because it is close to/far from the epicenter.”
