Theme 6: Family Education
課程目標 Lesson objective:
1. 學生能完成作業單並了解父母花費多少資源在他們身上
2. 了解各項資源花費後完成長條圖,並能根據長條圖說出目標句
3. 製作卡片感謝父母給予的一切
課程任務 Lesson Assignment:
1st period: Review the evolution of a family, and discuss what kids think parents need to spend money on for them. Introduce the idea of a budget, and the four items they will focus on for their outcome: tuition, stationery, entertainment, snack allowance. Explain the idea of the survey they will complete with their parents for homework.
2nd period. Use the information they collected from their parents to make a bar chart showing the amount they spend on each item. This will give a visual representation of how much parents need to spend on their kids.
3rd period: Create a thank you card for your parents. Students can use this time to make a thank you card to give to their parents. They can use colored paper to decorate along with markers and colored pencils.
