Theme 2: Human Right
課程目標 Lesson objective:
1. 學生能理解生理與心理障礙的差別與如何打破障礙。
2. 以活動、影片故事及圖片的情境,理解並熟悉課程相關字彙運用。
3. 學習單確認學生的學習與理解。
課程任務 Lesson Assignment:
1st period: Introduce the target vocabulary and sentence pattern
2nd period:
Review the vocabulary, and introduce the students to some phrases for the activity.
Practice using the phrases during the activity helping a blind getting around the classroom/ hallway
Go over the questions, and prompt and guide the students with the answers. Tell the students that they will be working in their groups answering these questions, and they will be presenting their answers to the class, next class.
3rd period: Tell the students what’s expected from them before they start their assessment. Check if anyone is still not familiar with the vocabulary, and start the assessment
Vocabulary: Disability, Physical disability, Mental disability, Focus, Unique, We are all unique.Giving instructions, Go right, Go left, Go straight, Duck down, Go back, Be careful, Stop, Watch out
Assessment: students will be assessed if they can recognized: physical disability, mental disability, skin color
(A) Q: Why can’t the person on the wheelchair get on the bus? A: Physical disability
(B) Q: Why can’t the blind person read the bus timetable? A: Physical disability
(C) Q: Why can’t the boy/ the girl do his work? A:Mental disability
