1st period: Students will review the storyboard for Boxing Day they learned last year. Watch a video about Boxing Day and how people celebrate it today. Finish off the class with a crossword puzzle that will also be used for their final assessment booklet.
2nd period: Review how we celebrate Boxing Day today. Using I-Pads, students will use Kahoot.com to access an online quiz. One team will have 3 students.
3rd period: Students will be given pages for a short book (5 pages). They must finish the sentences on the back with the missing words, and read the pages to the teacher for assessment.
