EMPLOYMENT Skills I AND ii

061 and 062 – Employment Skills I - II– 1-4 credits

· Full Year - Placement – Grade 11, 12

Students in Employment Skills Class will explore post-secondary training/employment, self-advocacy and create a career plan. Students will complete job applications, prepare resumes, participate in simulated interviews, explore various job opportunities and participate in workplace readiness training with a job coach. Students will learn the skills needed to meet employer expectations on a job site.

Training and hours will be logged to assist students in working towards the Ohio Means Jobs Readiness Seal and the Community Service Seal (Full Year; 1-4 Total Credits pending outside work experience)
